General FAQs
Do I need any equipment?
Not at all. Most of the workouts are bodyweight-based, so no equipment is essential. Many mums do eventually use dumbbells to progress, but you're welcome to start with bodyweight or very light dumbbells. You’ll need a mat for comfort, and I’m always happy to give guidance on what might suit your needs.
What if my little one is with me during the workout?
That’s exactly what this is all about! Little ones are absolutely welcome — whether they’re pottering about in the background, waving to me on the screen, or joining in the fun. All mums are on mute during workouts, so any noise won’t disrupt the session. You can pause to tend to your little one and jump back in whenever suits.
Is this just for new mums?
Definitely not. Our online gym welcomes mums of all ages and stages — from your 20s through to your 40s and beyond. Whether you’re newly postpartum or years down the line, you’ll find workouts that challenge and support you. Each session includes modifications, so whether you're up for high-energy cardio or prefer a strength-focused option, you're covered.
When can I start after having a baby?
You need to be at least 6 weeks post vaginal delivery or 10 weeks post C-section before starting exercise.

Will I get support with food and exercise?
Yes — support is a huge part of the programme. You’ll get group encouragement, guidance from me, including weekly check-ins and resources to help you stay on track in a way that fits your life.

Emily’s Circle: FAQs for Mums Affected by Baby Loss
Can I join at any time post-loss?
Yes, absolutely. You can join the community at any stage post-loss. Even if you're not yet cleared to exercise, you're very welcome to be part of the support network. We’re here for connection, community, and compassion.
Are the workouts different for bereaved mums?
All workouts are still safe and effective, but the space created for bereaved mums includes extra emotional support and understanding. You're never expected to explain your story — just show up as you are.
What if I’m not ready to exercise yet?
That’s completely okay. Healing is a journey, and we’re here for you whether you’re moving your body or simply need to feel part of something. There’s no pressure — just support.
